1. Coral Estate (s. Accommodation)

2. Daaibooi Beach
As you leave Coral Estate (down the hill), the access road to this beautiful, largely unspoiled beach is directly on your left. Many islanders gather here as this is one of the few beaches where there is no entrance fee.
Tip: The same applies here as everywhere else on Curacao: the palapas (palm-frond covered umbrellas) are free. You only pay for the sunbeds. If you bring your own seating (folding beach chair), it costs nothing.
Access to the water is usually via a stone/rock ledge, the easiest way is on the left between the rock face and a thick boulder. Behind it is a shoal of Boga Bogas. If you swim along the rock to the end of the ledge and then cross to the other side, you might be lucky enough to see a small stingray. But be careful, on the right side of the bay is an access to a speedboat rental. Here it is advisable to take a buoy with you so that you can be seen.

3. Cas Abou
Of course, this beach should not be missed, although it does get quite crowded in the late morning. However, you can always find a quiet spot in the more secluded areas.
There is an entrance fee of 5 Naf/person (as of 2024) at a barrier. Umbrellas are free, sunbeds cost extra.
The beach is fantastic early in the morning, pure Caribbean feeling!

6. Blue Bay
Like Coral Estate, Blue Bay is a closed area, i.e. you have to pass through a barrier and pay an entrance fee of 25 Naf/person. Sunbeds are available for a fee at the managed beach. It is a slightly more expensive visit…
The beach is ok, the view to the hotel on the left side is not so nice. However, a small section for snorkeling is fantastic: on the right side you have to swim around the small rocky outcrop and suddenly you experience a great little underwater world. The short way there is easy in itself, but the visibility can be limited by strong surf.

7. Tugboat
This is a special place: a big oil platform looks scary at first. But if you dare to go to the pebble beach and swim out to the left edge of the cliff, you will be rewarded with the wreck of an old tugboat: it lies at a depth of only 4-5 meters and can be easily reached by experienced snorkelers with a short dive. But even if you swim over it, the impression is fantastic.
And if you then turn left around the edge of the cliff and snorkel towards “Director’s Bay”, the second reward awaits you: a great coral reef at a depth of about 2 m. However, you should be aware of the current as you may have to swim back against it. Experienced swimmers can make the round trip in about 45 minutes or less.
